Danny and Rebecca wed on November 4, 2024, at Bear Brook Valley.
These high school sweethearts have been together for the past 10 years.
“He asked me to prom his senior year when I was a junior and it’s been love ever since!”
Danny is a police officer and Rebecca works in health care.
They had a trip planned to go to the Finger Lakes in New York with a bunch of friends. They had rented a house right on the lake for a long weekend.
“One of our friends is a photographer and always takes pictures of us friends when we are together,” says Rebeca. “So, before dinner we had plans to take photos.”
“Danny tricked me into going to the store to get him medication since he was getting a ‘migraine,’ explains Rebecca. “When we came back, I saw the dock all lit up with candles and rose petals!”
“We had our intimate moment then I turned around and he had my whole family there as well as his, and all our friends. We celebrated the entire weekend!”
“I wanted to stick to a simple, classic and timeless theme that matched Bear Brook Valley,” says Rebecca.
“I wanted everything bright with natural and neutral tones.” The bridesmaids wore taupe color dresses with the groomsmen in matching bowties.
For flowers and decor, they stuck to ivory, taupe, greenery and lots of candles.

The looked at several different venues but kept going back to Bear Brook.
“It had everything we wanted and more. I love how it is rustic-chic. I feel like it encompasses our style. It’s not too rustic, but also not too over the top,” says Rebecca.
“My favorite moment was when we were officially pronounced married. We looked forward to this moment for so long and it was finally here!”
“After we had our first kiss, I turned around and noticed all of the important people in our life there supporting us. It was a surreal moment.”
“It sounds so simple, but the first look really was the best thing we could have done,” says Rebecca. “It allowed us to get out all our emotions and just embrace being with one another alone before we got married.”
“Everyone tells you the day goes by so fast and it is so incredibly true,” says Rebecca. “Savor every moment. We also tried to never leave each other’s sides the entire night. The day is about you two and make sure you enjoy it together!”
For now, they did a mini-moon in the Fingers Lakes right after the wedding. They stayed at the Lake House on Lake Canandaigua.
“It was so relaxing and it was much needed after all the emotions of the wedding and all that wedding planning!”
“We slept in, ordered room service, rode bikes around town, visited wineries and breweries, and had a spa day.”
