Oyster Shell Seating Cards, Sunscreen Favors & Dockside Sunset Photos at This Summer Shore Wedding at Clarks Landing Yacht Club

Clarks Landing Yacht Club

When Brielle and John chose Clarks Landing Yacht Club in Point Pleasant for their June 19, 2026 wedding, both of them were drawn to the warm, coastal energy that the waterfront venue delivered perfectly. Beautifully photographed by Philip Siciliano Photography, their summer celebration was a Shore dream from start to finish: blue hydrangeas, white roses, delphiniums and greenery brought their coastal vision to life, while handmade oyster shell seating cards with hydrangea details and sunscreen favors labeled “Love Is Hot, Use SPF” gave the day a playful, personal touch that guests absolutely loved. The weather cooperated beautifully making dockside and sunset photos feel effortless. And just when the night couldn’t get any better, Brielle surprised John with a custom Knicks groom’s cake presented to “Go New York Go,” a nod to their 2026 NBA Championship win that had the whole room cheering all over again.

Their Story

“John and I met at work, where a friendship blossomed into something more,” says Brielle. “Our first date in NYC was filled with our favorite things, and that night he told me he loved me and would marry me someday. He kept his word!”

“Every anniversary, we recreate that special date—a reminder that the best love can come unexpectedly.”

The Proposal

“John planned an ‘end of summer’ date with a private boat ride along the Hudson, with New Jersey and New York on either side—a perfect reflection of us. As we headed back to the dock, our song began playing, and I turned to find John on one knee, tears in his eyes, asking me to marry him. Through happy tears, I said ‘yes!'”

Choosing the Venue

“We wanted a venue that felt like a true reflection of both of us, and Clarks Landing Yacht Club was the perfect fit,” says Brielle. “John grew up spending summers and his early adult years down the Shore, while I’ve always loved the beach. Together, we created a warm, coastal summer celebration that felt uniquely ours.”

Details of the Day

“Our wedding day was blessed with the most perfectly sunny weather and a gentle breeze, making it ideal for dockside and sunset photos,” says Brielle.

“Blue hydrangeas, white roses, delphiniums and greenery brought our coastal vision to life. Handmade oyster-shell seating cards featured hydrangea details, and guests received sunscreen favors labeled, ‘Love Is Hot, Use SPF.'”

Favorite Moment

“Our ceremony at Saint Peter’s Catholic Church was the most special part of our day—intimate, emotional, and filled with smiles as we became husband and wife,” says Brielle. “A close second was surprising John with a custom Knicks groom’s cake, presented to the song ‘Go New York Go’ after their 2026 NBA Championship win. Seeing his face light up was priceless!”

Wedding Day Attire

“My wedding gown was by Madi Lane Bridal, featuring delicate sequin and beaded floral lace that flowed into a dramatic train for a timeless, romantic look,” says Brielle. “John wore a classic black tuxedo by Vera Wang, while the bridesmaids wore soft light blue gowns and the groomsmen complemented them in timeless black tuxedos.”

Advice For Other Couples

“Our biggest advice is to compromise where you can and remember that the little things don’t matter in the end. Wedding planning can feel overwhelming and stressful, but trust the process and each other. No matter how chaotic it gets, everything has a way of falling perfectly into place—and the day will be worth it.”

Honeymoon

“Our honeymoon was a romantic adventure from Paris to Nice and Monaco, then to Cefalù and Taormina in Sicily, and finally Rome,” says Brielle. “From a private dinner overlooking the Eiffel Tower and beach clubs to an unexpected night in Zurich, a boat ride, and cooking class, every stop was unforgettable. We ended with dinner overlooking the Colosseum.”
