He proposed right in front of Hotel Bethlehem—so there was really only one place this wedding was ever going to be. Alexa and Colin’s May 30, 2026 celebration at the historic downtown landmark was timeless, faith-centered and deeply personal from start to finish. Photographed by Dearly Beloved Weddings, their classic black and white palette carried throughout—calla lilies and baby’s breath, full black attire for the bridal party, and a gown with a statement bow at the back that was pure and elegant. The Amish Outlaws kept the dance floor full all night, and the whole day felt exactly like what Alexa and Colin wanted: classy and joyful.
“Colin and I both grew up in Bethlehem but didn’t meet until after graduating college,” says Alexa. “Our first date was at Urbano on Main Street in Bethlehem! He is my absolute best friend and biggest supporter. I truly feel that he is a gift from God to me and I couldn’t imagine life without him by my side.”
“We got engaged right in front of our favorite spot downtown, Hotel Bethlehem! It was a complete surprise, and all of our friends and family were waiting for us at Colin’s parents house for the most incredible surprise party! I have never felt so much love and joy in my entire life.”
“Hotel Bethlehem is a very special place to us. It’s where we got engaged. It’s where we spend so much time at whenever we visit downtown. It fit the exact ‘timeless’ vibe we were going for with our wedding. And the staff is nothing short of amazing.”
“Our colors were black and white. Flowers included calla lilies and babies breath . We made sure our deep faith was shown throughout our wedding and that everything was classy and timeless.”
“Walking down the aisle and seeing my husband for the first time that day, and dancing with all of our friends and family at the reception.”
“I wore a beautiful white gown with a big bow on the back from Jon’s Bridals by Suzanne. My husband wore a classic black tux. The groomsmen and bridesmaids were in full black attire!”
“Enjoy every moment. Do what makes you happy and what feels right for you and your spouse. Don’t get too caught up in trends or what others want you to do. And most importantly, don’t get caught up in the stress of it all. The most important thing is that you’re marrying your best friend and the love of your life! Everything else is just a plus.”
“We are planning a honeymoon to our favorite place in the world, Tuscany, Italy!”
