When Michelle and Brendan chose The Ryland Inn in Whitehouse Station, for their June 13, 2026 wedding, the Coach House sold them on the spot—the silos in the cocktail room, the indoor-outdoor flow, and the intimate elegance of the space felt exactly like the wedding they had always pictured. Beautifully photographed by Bri Johnson Weddings, their summer celebration was modern and timeless from start to finish: an all-white palette of peonies and roses, black bridesmaid dresses, classic black tuxedos, and a clean aesthetic that moved seamlessly between the warmth of the indoor reception space and the natural beauty just outside.
The Proposal
“I was so surprised and had no idea it was coming when it did. I had told him I’d want to go ring shopping at some point but he just went for it on his own! I know he didn’t want to wait any longer.”
Choosing the Venue
“We fell in love with the elegant country style of the Coach House. We love the silos in the cocktail room and outside. It felt intimate and like a space where we could really see ourselves and our families enjoying every moment of this day. We also loved the indoor/outdoor combo.”

“All white with a combo of peonies and roses were the flowers. And we had an overall black and white color scheme with a modern elegant theme.”
They also had signature cocktails, a grandparents photos table, Phillies ice cream helmets for dessert, dance floor props of some kind and a guest book will be post cards and a mail box to put them in.
Wedding Day Attire
To fit with the timeless elegance theme, they chose black dresses for the bridesmaids and classic black tuxes for the groomsman. Michelle loved the buttons down the back of her dress!
Honeymoon
The couple went to Tuscany and the Amalfi Coast 10 days.
