How did you meet?
The first time we actually met was at a baseball game in our hometown. We were both very young but caught each other’s eye. Years later we reconnected through a mutual friend & we have been together ever since!
How did he ask?
It was our 7 year anniversary and we were spending it in the city. We decided to go to the top of the Empire State Building to view the city from the top. The weather was not on Kyle’s side that day so he was thinking on his toes. All the way at the top, in the wind and rain, Kyle got down on one knee and proposed. It was imperfectly perfect and we were both on cloud nine.
All about your day!
The Olde Mill Inn was the first venue we visited. We honestly knew right away it was the one! We loved the quaint intimate atmosphere and knew it would be perfect for our day. The venue fit right in with the vintage vibe we were going for. We realized having the hotel rooms right at our venue was a great convenience for our family and friends. The courtyard also took our breath away and we knew it would be perfect for our outdoor ceremony.
Our wedding day could not have gone more smoothly. Our Maitre D’ Marien made sure each detail of our day was exactly how we wanted it. She truly went above and beyond to make our day special. All of the staff was extremely helpful & courteous to all of our guests. Our cocktail hour was an overwhelming success! Our guest could not stop raving about all of the food. It truly was a day to remember.
For a rustic whimsical feel we went with Navy suits for the groomsmen with light blue ties for accent & Blush gowns for the bridesmaids. Kyle wore a Navy suit with a thin navy tie. He had a tan watch I gave him as a wedding gift that match his dress shoes. I wore a Martina Liana gown ( which was the first dress I had tried on). Blue diamond earrings that Kyle had bought me as a wedding gift (this was my something blue) & beautiful Badgley Mischka heels. The small details of the day were the ones that meant the most to us. Kyle wore custom made cufflinks with my fathers initials as a way to represent him being with us that day.
Our seating charts were gold and white custom made acrylic signs. Our table numbers were custom made as well. The centerpieces were simple and vintage with different glass vases filled with greenery and white flowers. Our favors were small mason jars filled with Hershey Kisses to play off of our last name Kiss!

Favorite moment?
One of our favorite moments would have to be when I walked down the aisle and we saw each other for the first time. We opted out of a first look and we are so glad we did!
The reading of our vows to each other is another special moment we shared & lastly our epic surprise first dance!
Something you couldn’t live without?
All of our amazing family & friends in the same room!
Did anything go wrong?
It truly was a smooth day. The weather had predicted rain but luckily it didn’t!
Favorite detail?
My favorite detail of the day was the charm my maid of honor gave me with a picture of my father and I. I wrapped it around my bouquet so he was with me as I walked down the aisle.
Where did you honeymoon?
We went on a mini moon to Crystal Springs Resort & plan on a 1 year anniversary trip riding the coast of California.
