Hair extensions. Whether your natural tresses are long or short, think about human-hair extensions for a dramatic, flowing look. Extensions are often priced individually with an average head costing between $150 and $350. Some salons also charge for an up-front consultation. Hair extensions can take you from bachelorette party to rehearsal dinner to wedding day to honeymoon.

Keratin hair treatment. Planning a wedding during humid summer months or traveling to a humid climate for your destination wedding or honeymoon?  You just can’t beat a keratin treatment for shiny, manageable, no-frizz locks. Keratin can last three to four months, so you can be frizz-free from your bachelorette party through your honeymoon. A full Brazilian keratin treatment can cost about $325. If that blows your budget, ask about express keratin and basic hair-relaxing treatments.

Eyelash tinting, eyelash extensions, permanent eyeliner. Busy brides appreciate all the time-saving beauty tips they can get their hands on. Eyelash tinting, eyelash extensions and permanent eyeliner are real treats because you can swim and shower without worrying about your makeup. And you’ll wake up every morning of your honeymoon with long, thick lashes and sultry eyes…without having to reach for your cosmetics bag. Prices can vary, so shop around for the best value and always trust an experienced, licensed technician.

Microblading. With the help of a microblading professional, a little tattoo magic can go a long way. Microblading is a technique by which fine lines of pigment, resembling brow hair, are etched into the skin’s surface. Results can last from 12 to 18 months. This pricey treatment that can set you back about $750 for an initial session, with touch-ups costing several hundred dollars each.

Waxing. Waxing is a bride’s best friend because you can target any area that needs a little de-fuzzing. From a simple eyebrow or lip waxing to a sexy bikini wax to a more extensive leg smoothing, this miracle makeover gets big points. Just be sure that you wax at least one week before an event or your skin might appear a bit red or bumpy. Typical prices are $25 for eyebrows, $45 for a basic bikini wax and $70 for a full leg.

Gel manicures. When the camera zooms in on your wedding ring, be sure your hands are picture-perfect. With a gel manicure, your nails can look fresh and shiny for up to 10 days. Bonus tip: If you’re honeymooning on a sandy beach, ask about a gel pedicure to protect your pretty toes from the sand. Prices vary depending on the type of gel manicure your salon offers.

Microdermabrasion. Out with the old and in with the new! A microdermabrasion treatment can rid your face of dead skin cells and leave it glowing and radiant. Book well in advance of your big day as your facial surface fully heals. A full face, neck and décolleté can cost $175 to $225, and a quick micro-swipe of the face is more affordable at $75.

Botox and dermal fillers. Tried-and-true Botox can quickly remove forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet. Botox will take a few days to show results, so book early. Be sure to ask your plastic surgeon to give you a natural look for your wedding day. Also check out dermal fillers such as Juvederm to ease the look of laugh lines. Dermal fillers are especially appreciated by older brides and mothers of the bride and groom. Prices vary, so shop around for Groupon.com and other discounts.
