Between her time on The Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise and her current stint on The Valley, Jasmine Goode has been in front of cameras for years. But her favorite kind of spotlight is one shared with her fiancée, Melissa Marie. On April 18, the ladies celebrated their bridal shower at the Madison Hotel in Morristown, and their “pearls and prosecco” theme was just right for this intimate, 40-guest event.
“It was really cute how they had pearls everywhere and, of course, all the Prosecco was flowing,” says Jasmine. There were photos of the couple on display and a neutral-colored balloon backdrop for taking photos. Jasmine adds that “the food was amazing [at the Madison Hotel]—top-notch.” Guests loved the wine-glass holder favors that her mother crocheted.

Their shower was a celebration of love with their East Coast family and friends. “It was just a good time seeing everybody and just feeling the love,” says Jasmine.

One of Jasmine’s favorite moments was the speech that her mom and Melissa’s mom made together. “The way they were speaking and how much they love me and Melissa, I’m just blown away that I have a future in-law that loves me so much and I’m so happy that my mother loves Melissa just as much,” says Jasmine. “I’m like, ‘wow, I’m really lucky.’”
Although they live in Los Angeles most of the time, both Jasmine and Melissa are from Maplewood.
Melissa actually graduated from high school with Jasmine’s brother, James. “So I knew who she was, but I never met her,” says Jasmine. After college, they ended up at the same bar, “and I was like, ‘oh my god, this girl’s so beautiful, I really need to know who she is.’” Melissa was dating someone at the time but they exchanged numbers and kept in contact for a few years.
Eventually, they went on their first date in LA and the rest is history. “It’s just crazy how things work,” says Jasmine. “Somebody could be so close to you, like a distance from your house, and you never even know they’re there. And then boom.”
The couple also had a Los Angeles bridal shower with fellow cast members of The Valley and other friends. Season 3 of the reality series will be airing throughout the summer on Wednesdays at 8PM on Bravo and streaming the next day on Peacock.
Next up for Jasmine and Melissa is their wedding on June 13, 2026, at Crossed Keys Estate in Andover. Jasmine’s four best friends from Season 21 of The Bachelor and Season 4 of Bachelor in Paradise—Danielle Lombard, Alexis Waters, Raven Gates Gottschalk and Jaimi King—are in her wedding party. Melissa’s father is actually the architect behind the new conservatory cocktail hour space a Crossed Keys. “It was the first venue we saw,” says Jasmine, “we were ‘like, okay, we have to see the one your dad built, of course.’ And we went there and we’re like, ‘okay, this is it.”’
