My fiancé Frank and I met back in 2010 bartending together at Shannon Rose (he was the newbie I was already there). Over time our relationship changed and we knew we had stronger feelings for each other worth exploring. In 2012 we went on our first date to Tiki Bar followed by Djais- obviously a must for us both! We fell in love and before we knew it, we’ve been living in uptown Hoboken for the last 3 years and just loving life together. On October 15th, 2015 it was Frank’s birthday and the plan was to meet him in the city to celebrate. As I got home to our Hoboken condo I was surprised with a note from Frank saying he couldn’t wait to see me tonight but that there was a surprise for me in the bedroom. As I walked in the bedroom he was there, down on one knee holding a gorgeous diamond ring in one hand and a dozen roses in the other. I was completely shocked and beyond surprised! It was a selfless proposal on his birthday, so genuine which is truly the best word to describe my fiancé and his character. Our little Hoboken love story continues to grow and it’s been so exciting!
