From nautical details like surfboard seating charts and seashell centerpieces to beach ceremonies and boardwalk portraits, these are quintessential Jersey Shore nuptials.
Couple: Lindsay & Teresa
Shore Vibes: Their cake featured Adirondack chair figurines on top and sand dollar and starfish elements. Their color scheme was focused on pretty pastels with Lindsay’s bridal party in pale blue and Teresa’s in lavender. The florals incorporated those same colors as well as white blooms. The escort cards were custom beach tags, and the table numbers were photos of numbers written in sand. Their card box, provided by the venue, was shaped like a lighthouse.

Couple: Samantha & Vincent
Shore Vibes: This couple did a ton of DIY decor to create the ‘retro-beach’ aesthetic for their Shorely In Love-themed wedding. They love the beach so tying the knot on the Wave Resort’s sixth floor balcony was just what they wanted. They created their seating chart that featured motel-style keychains as escort cards.

Couple: Kelly & Dicky
Shore Vibes: After their ceremony and before cocktail hour, the couple carved out a few minutes to take a boat ride with the wedding party. Also, Kelly’s parents tied the knot at the Bay Head Yacht Club 35 years before Kelly and Dicky did.

Couple: Emily & Andrew
Shore Vibes: The couple tapped their friends— local band the Danksters—to bring the “laid-back beachy music” soundtrack for the cocktail hour (on acoustic guitars) and the after-party, which stretched until the wee hours at Bonnet Island Estate. The couple’s dog, Reef, was the ring bearer. One key detail was a sea-glass seating chart, inspired by Andrews’s mother’s sea glass collection.

Couple: Michaela & Anthony
Shore Vibes: Michaela’s wedding vision was modern, casual seaside elegance with a touch of boho. The color palette complimented the natural surroundings offered by the bayside venue, known for its gorgeous sunsets! The bridesmaids got ready in a picture-perfect Avalon home which provided a gorgeous backdrop for portraits, before heading to the beach. The ceremony took place bayside.

Couple: Hunter & Tom
Shore Vibes: Before their wedding, Hunter, Tom and their wedding party headed to the boardwalk. Tommy, one of Tom’s groomsmen, knew how much Hunter wanted to take pictures of the couple eating pizza on the boardwalk in their wedding outfits, so he volunteered to stand in line. “Since it was a beautiful Saturday afternoon, the boardwalk was packed and he got the slices in perfect timing to get the photos,” says Hunter. The group also took playful shots in front of arcade games.

Couple: Danielle & Andrew
Shore Vibes: Their beachy, laid-back wedding represented the couple’s love of the Shore. The venue’s palm trees, pool, private beach and outdoor tiki bars gave their wedding a tropical vibe right here in New Jersey.

Couple: Kelly & Nick
Shore Vibes: The day started with Kelly getting ready at her family’s home on the bay in Stone Harbor. The couple’s first look took place at a local beach park, where the shell-lined path reflected the summer light. A classic red convertible was waiting for Kelly and Nick to take them to their ceremony. They said their “I do’s” in a ceremony space overlooking the bay at the Reeds at Shelter Haven. Another fun touch? Congratulatory wishes for the happy couple went up on the classic Harbor Square Theatre marquee.

Couple: Kristine & DJ
Shore Vibes: The couple used boho beachy colors (lots of tans and pinks) throughout the day. Flowers were blush and white and included majolica spray roses, ranunculus, white lisianthus and champagne roses. “Having my bare feet in the sand, the bay within steps of us, and seagulls’ distant sounds in the background made everything feel so perfect and coastal,” says Kristine. They had shells and starfish details on the cake, table numbers that featured various Shore town names, beach-themed signage and more.

Couple: Laura & Ky
Shore Vibes: “The yacht club provided a unique opportunity to be right on the water without the hassle of a beach wedding with wind and sand,” says Laura. “It was private, offered different spaces for each portion of the day, had beautiful views, and the white tent, with sparking lights, directly on the water could not be beat.”

Couple: Mia & Dylan
Shore Vibes: “We wanted to have beachy aspects to our wedding but did not want to necessarily have a wedding on the beach,” says Mia. They loved Mallard Island Yacht Club’s open, elegant feel, the chapel sitting on a pier that overlooks the bay, and the fact that you can rent out the entire venue overnight for accommodations for friends and/or family.
