When Samantha and John chose The Mansion on Main Street in Voorhees for their March 21, 2026 wedding, they were sold from the very first tour—drawn in by the marble, the grounds, the ballroom and a staff that delivered on every promise. Beautifully photographed by Lindsay Eileen Photography, their spring celebration was elegant: white roses, baby’s breath, and eucalyptus paired with candles in a soft olive green palette. But the detail that makes their wedding truly one of a kind is Rose—the Dutch Neck Elementary secretary who spent a year passing messages between Samantha and John before John finally made his move, and who, years later, stood at the altar to officiate the wedding.
Samantha and John met at work. “John was a security guard at the time and I was a teacher,” she says. “We connected about a year before dating. We played telephone through our secretary, Rose! We would both ask her about each other before John finally made a move. Rose meant so much to us and she was our officiant. We are a Dutch Neck Elementary Love Story :)”
“John took me to a dog brewery with two of our friends. As we sat down, I noticed my dog came in, which was not the plan. She had a bandana that said ‘marry me’ and the ring was sewed to the pouch on the bandana. I said yes! The band congratulated us and our closest friends and family were upstairs and surprised us to celebrate too!”
“The Mansion on Main Street was EVERYTHING when my mom and I toured it,” says Samantha. “I was obsessed with the marble, the genuine personality from the staff, the package, and their grounds and ballroom. I was just so elated and they lived up to the hype. They were so perfect in EVERY WAY!”
They chose olive green, and accents of other greens for their color scheme. The flowers were white roses, babies breath and eucalyptus paired with candles.
The couple had a few favorite moments. “Our first look, the love and joy of all the people there to celebrate us, and dancing the night away!”
“Chip away at the work!” says Samantha. “It leaves you less overwhelmed and stress free. I was relaxing the week of my wedding!”
This summer they’re headed to Italy and Greece for 13 days.
