A Vintage Truck, a Barn Ceremony & More Rustic Touches at The Hamilton Manor

The Hamilton Manor

Alyssa Linke and Daniel Linke got married on 2025-11-29 at The Hamilton Manor.

Their Story

“Our love story began when we were 15 years old,” says Alyssa. “We had been friendly in middle school but had stopped talking. One day he snapchatted me and we started talking. He came over after school one day and that was the start of something amazing. We were together all of the time. From the first day of hanging out together, we just laughed, got along great.”

The Proposal

“We got engaged in the Poconos. We go up there every year before Christmas to do some Christmas Shopping. Dan knows that I love anything Christmas so he planned a horse drawn sled through Christmas lights. We were having the best time and we got to this archway of lights and the person said this is the perfect spot for a photo op.”

Choosing the Venue

“I wanted a rustic feel for my wedding,”says Alyssa. “My preference was to not have marble, statues, etc. From the moment I walked into the Hamilton Manor I knew it was the place I wanted to get married. The barn for the ceremony was everything I dreamed of. I loved it! I also liked that each part of the wedding had a different feel.”

Details of the Day

“We chose to go with a fall theme,” says Alyssa. “Our colors were burnt orange and dark green. Our decor was rustic but elegant. We had wooden table number signs. We used lanterns as our centerpieces with dried flowers around them. We had a whiskey barrel for a card holder and our champagne glasses and cake knife and server had twine and pearls around the bottoms. We had a green old fashioned truck on the floor that was filled with white pumpkins. Our seating chart was a distressed door with glass panes.”

Favorite Moment

“Aside from seeing Dan for the first look, I think waiting to be announced at the reception was my favorite part. When they called our names and we walked onto the balcony, we could see everyone that was there for us. Everyone was clapping and cheering for us and it was a special feeling.”

Advice For Other Couples

“Enjoy every moment because it goes by really fast. I was engaged for 2 years and the time flew.”

“There will be times that are stressful, especially when making decisions but remember to breathe and everything will work out.”

“Small details matter! Guests notice them.”

Honeymoon

“We went to Aruba for our honeymoon. It was amazing! We spent 8 days there! We hung out by the pool and beach, explored the town and got to experience how locals lived, and even took a jeep tour!”
