She Skipped the Veil and Wore Her Late Grandmother’s Pearls at This Classic Summer Wedding at Baltusrol Golf Club

Baltusrol Golf Club

Emma and Andrew had their wedding at Baltusrol Golf Club in Springfield on June 6, 2026 wedding. Baltusrol holds personal significance for Andrew’s family, and Christ Church Short Hills, where the ceremony took place, was chosen for its timeless beauty. Beautifully photographed by Deborah Ann Photography, their summer celebration was classic and understated in the best possible way: a green and white palette, calla lilies and hydrangeas, bridesmaids in eucalyptus and blush Jenny Yoo dresses, and Emma in a Jane Hill Bridal gown from Kleinfeld Bridal. In place of a veil, she wore a chic neck scarf and her late grandmother’s pearl necklace—a detail as elegant as it was meaningful. Their favorite moment of the whole day? Walking out of Christ Church as a married couple, greeted by every person they love most waiting for them outside.

Their Story

Emma and Andrew met at Gettysburg College and built their relationship through long drives, COVID, Emma’s nursing school and countless adventures. From Gettysburg to Baltimore, Florida and Colorado, they’ve embraced every chapter together. With their beloved dog, Bentley, by their side they’re excited to begin married life.

The Proposal

Andrew proposed to Emma on the beautiful cliffs of Carmel, California, while on a family vacation with Emma’s family, making the moment even more special. He told her they were going to a sibling brunch, but instead they arrived at a closed-down restaurant at Rocky Point, where he surprised her with a proposal.

Choosing the Venue

Emma and Andrew chose Baltusrol for its family significance and Christ Church Short Hills for its beauty. Together, they created the perfect setting for a meaningful, personal wedding day.

Details of the Day

The wedding embraced a simple, elegant style with a green and white palette. Bridesmaids wore eucalyptus green and blush in a mix of solid and floral dresses. The natural beauty of the church and Baltusrol required little decor, while calla lilies and hydrangeas completing the timeless look.

Favorite Moment

Their favorite wedding day moment was walking out of the church as a married couple and being welcomed by all of their loved ones.

Wedding Day Attire

Emma wore a Jane Hill Bridal gown from Kleinfeld Bridal. Instead of a veil, she chose a chic neck scarf and her late grandmother’s pearl necklace. She completed it with Jimmy Choo heels. Andrew wore a classic navy tuxedo from Brooks Brothers, complemented by Allen Edmonds shoes and Baltusrol cufflinks. Girls- Jenny Yoo eucalyptus and blush dresses.

“Take your time! We spent two years enjoying our engagement and planning our wedding, never really feeling stressed until the final weeks. For most of our engagement, we truly got to savor this special season together and celebrate the journey.”

Honeymoon

The newlyweds spent two weeks in Italy: Capri, Tuscany and Florence. They enjoyed lots of delicious food, swimming in the Mediterranean Sea, wine tasting and leather shopping.
