Their Story
These two had their first college class together at Seton Hall in 2016, but never spoke. Two years later, Mariella was studying in the library when Josh approached her. He claimed he lost his phone in an Uber and asked to borrow Mariella’s phone to find his. After tracking it down, Josh took her out for coffee as a thank you and the rest is history
The Proposal
Josh proposed on a rooftop bar in New York City where the couple had one of their first dates. They were then joined by family and friends to celebrate! Soon after, they enjoyed a vacation to Florence, where they were able to eat the best food, drink the best wine, and see the most beautiful sites before beginning to plan their dream wedding.

Details of the Day
Mariella and Josh planned a classic winter wedding with soft, romantic details and tons of warm candlelight. Their florals featured soft blush and ivory garden-style blooms with ranunculus, garden roses, and sweet peas. They exchanged vows during a Catholic ceremony at Seton Hall’s Immaculate Conception Chapel, their alma mater. One of the most meaningful details was their vintage cake topper, originally used at Mariella’s parents’ wedding. Their anniversaries now fall just ten days apart!
