An Elevated Coastal Aesthetic at The Molly Pitcher Inn
Emily and Christian got married on Jul 27, 2024 at the Molly Pitcher Inn.
Their Story
Christian and Emily met while attending the University of Georgia.
Christian’s sister became fast friends with Emily while living in the same dorm hall and later set the two up on their first date. The rest is history!
The Proposal
After graduation, Christian and Emily lived in Wisconsin for a few years.
Christian surprised Emily with a thoughtfully planned weekend getaway to the quaint town of Door County.
On the final day of the trip, Christian proposed on a private beach at sunset!
Choosing the Venue
Emily grew up on the Jersey Shore and always knew she wanted to tie the knot close to home. Since Christian grew up in the south, they anticipated many out of town guests.
“The Molly Pitcher Inn was the perfect place to welcome our southern friends and family, and offered a beautiful, romantic backdrop for our special day,” says Emily.
Details of the Day
“Our vision was a romantic, timeless wedding that still felt approachable and laid-back,” says Emily. “We wanted to include coastal touches in an elevated way. Our event planner and designer, Arielle Fera Events, nailed it!”
The menu featured a wide variety of our favorites. From classic lobster rolls and a raw bar, to Christian’s southern comfort food favorite—chicken and waffles.
The color palette consisted of soft shades of white and champagne. The florals were varying tones of white for a classic look.

Detail They Couldn’t Live Without
“We couldn’t imagine our day without our family and friends who traveled near and far to make us feel like the most special people in the world.”
Favorite Moment
“Our favorite moment was sharing our first look and private vows down on the dock,” says Emily. “It was so peaceful being by the water, just us, before the celebrations got started! A moment we’ll remember forever.”
Advice For Other Couples
“Stay present and soak in every moment!” says Emily. “It will be one of the most unforgettable days of your life, and before you know it, it’s over!”
She adds: “Be sure to thank your family, friends, and vendors. They are the heart and backbone of your special day.”
Honeymoon
They spent a week in Turks and Caicos.
“We were so excited to spend the week following our wedding doing absolutely nothing but relaxing on the beach,” she says. “We snorkeled, sailed, and enjoyed the most amazing food. It was the perfect way to unwind and spend quality time together.
