Morgan Mitchell adores Paris. She has visited the city three times and can’t wait to go back during her honeymoon with husband-to-be Ken Sexton.
For her French-themed bridal shower on February 23, 2025 in Renault Winery’s Champagne Sunroom, Morgan, who is a professional wedding photographer and the owner of Morgan Taylor Artistry, transported guests to Europe. “Pulling up to Renault, you already have a touch of that European inspiration,” she says.
A custom bright pink cafe, constructed by Vine & Oak Events, was the centerpiece of the affair. Not only was it a backdrop for photos, but the display windows also served as pretty perches for the cakes and desserts. Completing the entryway was a white trellis covered in flowers featuring a card basket. A coffee table book full of pictures of Paris was the guest book.
The tables were cloaked in “dainty and feminine”-patterned light pink tablecloths, and real croissants were incorporated into the floral centerpieces. Jars of macarons in various shades of pink adorned the tables. The couple’s cat, Monkey, served as the inspiration for the name of the signature cocktail: Mademoiselle Monkey’s French 75.
For activities, guests guessed the number of pearls in a jar. Morgan also displayed a selection of perfumes for attendees to guess the scent she’ll wear on her wedding day.
The bride-to-be loves French fashion designer Coco Chanel, so the giveaways for winning the games included books with quotes from Chanel. Gifts also included prints of Paris that Morgan took during her travels.
