The Proposal

The couple got engaged on June 24, 2021 in St Lucia.

“Chris proposed at sunset on the beach right in front of the mountains while on vacation for the week,” says Amanda. “We ended the night with a sunset dinner in the exact spot we got engaged and it was truly a dream.”

Details of the Day

The theme of their wedding was French grandeur colors, which included white flowers like roses and hydrangeas. The favors were Magnolia’s Bakery banana pudding cups.

Choosing the Venue

“The main reason we chose the Park Chateau was for the grounds,” says Amanda. “The gardens that surround the Chateau bring you to Versailles.”

The venue allowed the couple and their guests to have a “European experience right here in New Jersey.”

Favorite Moment

“The selling point for us with the Park Chateau was the gorgeous grounds inspired by a European garden,” says Amanda.

“Our favorite moment of the wedding took place during the ceremony. I made my grand entrance by exiting the chapel and walking across the gardens to the fountain, where Chris was waiting for me. The moment the chapel doors opened, it was one of the most emotional moments for not only us, but all of our guests as well. It was surreal.”

One Detail They Couldn’t Live Without

“I am somewhat of a fashion enthusiast,” says Amanda, “and honestly the one detail I could not have lived without were the Manolo’s. It was the first item in general I purchased for the wedding, and I have always known they were going to be my wedding shoes.

Advice For Couples

“Enjoy all of the little moments leading up to the wedding and remember it is your day,” says Amanda. “Do not let the opinions of others affect your dream/vision.”

Honeymoon

The couple traveled to Paris and Ibiza. “In Paris, we had dinner in the Eiffel Tower at Le Jules Verne, sipped coffee at YSL and had afternoon tea at The Ritz,” says Amanda.

“Between both locations, we ate at eight Michelin star restaurants and enjoyed the most spectacular views.”

“In Ibiza, we took a boat out for the day, dined in cliffs and enjoyed a luxurious stay at the bohemian styled W Hotel Ibiza.”
