Details of the Day: We were married at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish Shrine in Lindenwold, NJ. This is the church I attend regularly. We chose Lucien’s Manor for our reception as it offered everything we wanted our reception to be. Lucien’s Manor is beautiful inside and out and provides outstanding service. We had attended a wedding there in the past so we knew that they can deliver. When the Versailles ballroom in Lucien’s Manor was renovated we knew it would be perfect for the vintage glam accents we wanted to incorporate into our wedding. Our favors were mini bottles of sparkling wine that doubled as escort cards. We made sure to give the children and non-drinkers sparking cider. [sponsor] Menu: Our menu included Lucien’s Manor plentiful cocktail hour as well as a lechon (roast pig). Charles is from the Philippines and the dish is common at celebrations so we wanted to make sure we had one for our wedding day. Our menu also included chicken, prime rib & Asian sea bass. The wedding cake from Lucien’s Manor was simply vanilla, but it was so delicious. Favorite Moment: My favorite wedding moment had to be when Charles and I exchanged rings during our ceremony. It was such a emotional moment and we both started to cry! Favorite Detail: My favorite detail had to be the blue heart I had sewn into my wedding dress. It was fabric from my brother’s tie. He passed away four years ago so it was important for me to have a piece of him with me on my wedding day. It also served as my “something blue” Honeymoon: Charles and I really wanted our honeymoon to be an adventure. So we decided to explore a few different places by traveling to the Maldives,Malaysia and Singapore.
