This Couple Took Awesome Rain Photos at Their Lake Mohawk Country Club Wedding

Vincent and Krisi’s Lake Mohawk Country Club wedding was full of white and emerald florals. They chose the venue for the location. “We loved the lake and the boardwalk, it’s so beautiful,” says groom Vincent.
The couple also shared custom vows, played a lot of Albanian music and had their dog, Koda, as the ring bearer.
Their Story
Vincent met Krisi in college during his last semester in public speaking class. “We were paired up for a group project and became friends very quickly,” says Vincent. “From there, we started to fall in love.”
The Proposal
“I planned a trip to Quebec, Canada,” says Vincent. “We rented a ‘tiny home’ on top of a mountain, it was very romantic with incredible views and a nice outdoor patio to relax on. Hiking has always been something we’ve done together throughout our relationship. I knew of a beautiful hike in the area, and when we got to the top, I dropped on one knee and asked her to marry me.”

Their Lake Mohawk Country Club Wedding
Vincent describes their October 14, 2023 wedding, as having a modern and clean theme. The color scheme was white, emerald, green, gold and gray. There were lots of flowers and candles to set the mood. Why did they choose Lake Mohawk as their venue? “The location is beautiful and the staff is amazing,” says Vincent. “We chose the venue for the location. We loved the lake and the boardwalk, it’s so beautiful. Then, after meeting with the staff and seeing how nice and friendly they were, it was an easy decision.”
Special Details
Some other special details of their day included, “we shared custom vows, made a speech thanking our parents, played a lot of Albanian songs and performed line dances,” says Vincent. “We had our dog, Koda, there for the reception and cocktail hour. He was our ring bearer, along with my brother.”
Favorite Moment
Vincent simply says, “marrying my best friend,” was his favorite part of his wedding day.
Advice
“Have good communication, trust each other and maintain your own identity and hobbies,” says Vincent.
Honeymoon
“We went to Hawaii for two weeks,” says Vincent. “We stayed in Maui, Oahu and Kauai. We hiked mountains, drove the road to Hana, ate amazing food and relaxed on the beaches.”
