How did you meet?
We met on bumble 4 years ago! From our very first date, we were inseparable. Not a day went by where we didn’t speak and everything just flowed naturally. Time really flew by, when we look back we can’t believe that it’s been a little over 4 years and now we are married!

How did you get engaged?
Ray proposed on the High Line in NYC. We had planned to go on a nice walk as it was perfect Fall weather. We had stopped at a cute bar beforehand to watch a bit of the Giants game (had to get his sports in). He had a photographer secretly following us to dispute every moment. When we got to a viewing area, Ray pretended to take a photo together and got down on one knee! OBVIOUSLY, I said YES! Later on that evening he surprised me with our parents and siblings for dinner.

Details of the day!
Ray and I aren’t the typical ballroom-type folks, we love that industrial mixed with a rustic look! We instantly fell in love with the overall aesthetic of The Art Factory! Tons of brick walls, string lights, and wood! We had our ceremony here as well with a beautiful floral arch and pews from an old church! Followed into the cocktail and reception, exposed wood tables with simple greenery, baby’s breath, and roses around gold and white candles

What was on your menu?
We opted for our guests to go up to stations for their food during the reception. From steak to fish, chicken, and tons of pasta choices. Our cake was vanilla champagne with cannoli filling. For our cocktail hour, we had a live mozzarella maker, cured meats, and tons of passed hors d’oeuvres.

All about your gown!
My dress! It was a mermaid-style gown with a train for days. Simple front but low back, with delicate straps with flower detail that was also sewn into the train. I went with a cathedral-length veil as well And blue heels as my something blue.

What was your favorite moment?
My favorite moment was when I finally got to see Ray! He wouldn’t let me see his tux beforehand so I was so excited to see him all dressed up. That moment was also the start of our day together. We were finally getting married and getting to celebrate with all of our favorite people.

One detail you couldn’t live without?
This is a hard one because every minute was just so exciting, new, and fun.

Did anything go wrong?
Well, it was pouring early on that day and we had a few water leaks (it is a factory after all) but as we got closer, the skies cleared up and everything stopped. And truthfully, as they say, that day anything that “goes wrong” … you just say it is what it is!

Any advice for future brides?
Don’t lose sight of what marriage is all about. Ray and I made sure of that and sure there are times in the planning process, especially as you get closer to the big day, that are stressful. Don’t focus on spending thousands on fancy things or thinking you have to have this and that, do what makes you two happy. The day should be a reflection of you both and the love you have for one another. Enjoy every second of it!

Honeymoon Location
We are going to Croatia! We are exploring 3 cities there and we cannot wait!
