• How they met: It all started in August of 2015 when a college friend dared Molly Supinski to try the dating app Tinder for seven days. The rules were simple: If Molly, 26, of Princeton, didn’t match with anyone by the end of the seventh day, she would delete her account forever. But on day seven, when she came across the profile of Nick DePinto, 32, of Cream Ridge, it really was a match.

• Will you marry me? In late November 2016, Nick asked Molly to stop by the couple’s new home to meet with their plumber. Though the appointment seemed anything but romantic, Molly had a sneaking suspicion that something special might happen. Sure enough, when she arrived at the house, a trail of rose petals led her from the front door to the living room, where “Will You Marry Me?” was spelled out and Nick was down on one knee. “It really was our moment, and it was perfect,” says Molly.

• The gown: The intricately beaded mermaid-style gown from Peter Langner was heavily altered to feature a low V-neckline.

• Details of the day: “I’m all about the details,” says Molly, whose background includes event planning. Her experience taught her to know that brides should not go overboard with a beach theme for her wedding at the Reeds at Shelter Haven on September 15, 2017.

From the unique seating chart—calligraphed gold oyster shells surrounded by succulents and coral atop a mirror—to subtle accents like acrylic table numbers, starfish and driftwood pieces on every table, the Reeds was filled with natural beach accents that didn’t go too far. Even the couple’s beach cruiser, its front basket overflowing with florals, was incorporated into the day’s décor. “I spent all of my summers in LBI for the last 25 years and so many summers on my beach bike; I just felt like it needed to be there,” says Molly.

• Menu: At cocktail hour, guests were treated to selections from a raw bar, mac-and-cheese station, taco station and plenty of passed hors d’oeuvres. At dinner, they were served filet mignon, chicken and risotto.
