Details of the day: The music was playing, the tree was lit, and everyone was in the Christmas spirit. Our Winter Wonderland wedding was about to begin and I was just on cloud nine. My dress, a true fit and flare, full of beading, silver stitching, and poinsettia shaped flowers. The girls dresses, silver with bling, just at the top, and their beautiful bouquets with silver and white poinsettias. The church’s 30+ pews were lined with 6 foot tall manzanita branches were filling the isles beautifully.
Our first dance under the snow and tons of mistletoe. The guests enjoyed their Christmas themed drinks and Christmas photo booth props as a little extra touch. Personalized glasses and foam glow sticks to add extra pizzaz on the dance floor! Each guest raved about the three different centerpieces, the 8ft Christmas trees next to our sweetheart table, the jingle bells that had to be rang for the bride and groom to kiss, and the snowflake ornament that each couple took home to hang on their tree were a hit! Everything was white and silver, truly a winter wonderland. It was a memorable celebration. Our friends and family shared that they left truly feeling the Christmas spirit!
Your favorite part:
Walking down the isle. I had a longer isle which gave me time to take in what I was actually doing, to see my finance’s face, and to remind my father how much I loved him. Especially with the tall manzanita branches going all the way day the isle. It was just breathtaking.
If you could change one thing about your wedding what would it be?
The weather, which is really out of my control! Luckily we did not plan anything outside, because it was December, so the rain didn’t ruin anything we hoped to do. We really loved EVERYTHING about that day! It was everything that we ever imagined and being surrounded by the ones we love was the best part!!
Advice for other brides:
Believe and know that everything will come together just as you imagined!
