Details of the day: I am obsessed with details and making everything perfect. I wanted to make sure all the small details that people usually look past to do were there. All of the rooms flowed into each other as you walked into each one. From the showstopper escort table, to the rose gold sequence cocktail tables, to the extravagant ballroom with gold sheer overlay tablecloths and breathtaking centerpieces, to the custom sweetheart table. Even the glass card box table and laser cut sign was placed on a gold sequined table cloth and the 8 tier wedding cake over a layer of roses. Guests enjoyed the harp player and violinist during the appetizer, sorbet and dinner, then danced the night away with the beats from the amazing DJ. They also enjoyed watching the Live Event Painter paint our first dance while we danced on the clouds. Guests danced the night away until 2am at the venue where the After Party was held, with finger foods, a cigar roller and LED light up glow sticks filled the dance floor. As guests left they were able to take a mini box of gold and rose gold glitter french macaroons. The entire day was nothing but perfect I didn’t miss a beat and everything was done ever so elegantly. All of the rooms had a classy, elegant and romantic feel. My bridal party wore long rose gold sequined gowns and the groomsmen all in black tuxes. I wore a custom Galia Lahav wedding dress, that was a formfitting mermaid style dress, with an open back, sheer sides and detachable sheer sleeves with appliqués. My dress had shimmering details and I matched them with silver/bling Miu Miu shoes and changed into matching Miu Miu sneakers. The groom wore a sleek black tux with a white bow-tie. I wanted our wedding to have a classy, romantic feel, with some extravagance but not too over the top where it’s gaudy. People really took notice to all the details and still rave about how amazing it was! Your favorite part: Having the first look and seeing my soon-to-be husband for the first time. I was nervous and excited and trying not to cry. I also loved walking down the aisle with my dad and having guests see me for the first time and looking at my fiancé at the altar. We were both staring at each other trying to hold back our tears, but it was really hard to. I tried to walk as slow as I could to enjoy and take it all in, but I couldn’t wait to get up on the alter with him. Advice for other brides: To make sure you stop to take a step back and take it all in. Remember everyone is there for you and your fiancé and the love you have for each other. Don’t worry about anything because no one is going to know something wasn’t done. Just relax and enjoy your day!
