Details of the day: Our wedding day, June 18, 2016, was the perfect day. There was not a cloud in the sky and it was the day I got to marry my best friend. The entire day went so slow yet so fast and I tried to take in every single moment. Once hair and makeup were done and the dress was on, I felt like the most beautiful bride and was so excited! The bridal party had a champagne toast in the bridal suite before heading down the aisle to kick off the celebration. My dress was beaded and lace with a train and complementing cathedral vail. My shoes were Ted Baker and had just the right sparkle and comfort for a bride. The ceremony was beautiful with personal vows and then after walking back down the aisle to “You Are The Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne, it was time for cocktails, dinner and dancing! All of the details came together and everything was beautiful. Our signature drink was our favorite cocktail, a jalapeno margarita which was a perfect summer cocktail. The music by Elite Entertainment was perfect and we had so much fun dancing all night long. It was wonderful to celebrate such an important moment in our lives with all of our loved ones.
Your favorite part: The outdoor wedding ceremony and walking down the aisle to Somewhere Over the Rainbow. Each step of the way to my groom, I saw every special person to us in our lives. It was such a surreal moment that I will cherish my entire life.
Advice for other brides: Organization is key! It was so important to my husband and I to never lose sight of why we were getting married in the first place and with all of the wedding planning details, it is easy to get lost. We stayed organized and remained balanced throughout the planning process with the number one goal of creating a special day to celebrate our marriage.
