Details of the day: My wedding day was absolutely perfect, it was everything I have ever imagined and more! Back in July 2015, we began looking at venues and we were originally leaning towards the country club look. Once we toured the Crystal Ballroom we knew that it was exactly where we wanted to get married. The Crystal Ballroom was perfect for us because even though we were both brought up Catholic, we knew we wanted to have an outdoor wedding ceremony with beautiful scenery, and that is exactly what we got! Even though mother nature was not on our side that day, we were still able to have our ceremony outside! Thanks to the large portico, we were able to keep 165 of our closest friends and family dry during our ceremony!!
My dress was strapless with a sweetheart top. The entire dress was lace, and I added a belt for a little sparkle! I absolutely loved my dress, it fit like a glove! The colors of the wedding were navy blue and blush. The reception was decorated with white linens, navy blue napkins, and champagne gold sequence chair wraps. I love shimmer so I added a lot of sequence to the room. All the chairs had the sequence wraps, our sweetheart table and our cake table had matching sequence runners, and our gift table/Ice sculpture table had a champagne sequence table cloth.
We also had pink cove lighting to try and incorporate some blush into the room. Thanks to Sue, our Maitre’d, the room looked absolutely stunning, she really went above and beyond to make sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. I could not have made it through the day without Lauren and Syndey, they really made my wedding experience as stress free as possible. Even with the unexpected rainfall that evening, I wouldn’t change a thing!
Your favorite part: My favorite part about our wedding was celebrating and dancing with our amazing family, friends, and vendors!
Advice for other brides: Don’t stress over the small things. You cannot control things that are inevitable, such as bad weather! Do what makes you and your groom happy!
