My husband and I grew up in the same town and thank god it never worked out growing up. We reunited in Del Ray, Florida. We moved back to NJ together and the rest is history.
He brought me into the city the night he proposed for dinner and to see “Wicked” on broadway. He brought me to a beautiful spot and asked me to turn around so he could take a picture. I knew he was proposing that day because he’s the worst liar, but I still acted surprised. (He still doesn’t know that i knew)
The florals in our wedding were red roses, white roses and red calla lillies. We had three different types of centerpieces in our reception. We used a mix of candles and flowers and trees. It was absolutely stunning . Fortunately, our wedding venue didn’t need much decorating as it was already stunning by itself. We mostly relied on the florist to bring the room to life.
Why did you choose your venue?
We chose our venue because of it’s charm and character. Also the outside gardens are so beautiful, if unfortunately rained on the day of our wedding, but everything was still perfect inside!
What was on your menu?
Filet mignon, salmon and chicken. Our cake was vanilla with fruit filling.

What is one detail you couldn’t live without?
We took a moment during the ceremony to remember those in our families who had passed.
