We went to the same high school, but met through mutual friends after he graduated and I was heading into my senior year.
Privately at home in 2017 on Easter.
Although we had to postpone our reception to next year, October 10th was absolutely beautiful. Everything went smoothly and having just close family and friends I think made the moment much more memorable for us.
Lucien’s is absolutely breathtaking from the moment you pull up to the building. Walking in, and seeing the staircase was another wow factor. The ballroom we choose fit perfectly for the theme and vibe I wanted for my wedding celebration. Plus the food is incredible.
We were able to try everything and choose to have chicken Florentine, teriyaki salmon, and a grilled ribeye.
I actually tried the gown I choose a year prior to buying it, but wanted to wait to make sure it was the one. I tried on many gowns and something was missing with each one so I went back to Sposabella and asked if they had that gown. Luckily they did, just in my size. I tried it on, and I felt the magic this was the one! I love the lace and the way it shows off my curves, and the sleeves that can be added or removed was a bonus, but the biggest win was the gorgeous train.
During the ceremony, I could feel the love in the room as we were exchanging vows.
I love the gold added hair accessory I got off Amazon, I feel like it made the look complete.
Not that I could remember.

Be in the moment and don’t stress over the little things because at the end of the day you probably won’t even notice them.
