Knowing that Christmas is my favorite holiday, Brian put the ring inside my stocking and proposed to me in front of his whole family!
Since the venue is so elegant, I wanted to match the timeless style. My bridesmaids wore black gowns and the decorations were ivory and gold. We also had brigadeiros (my favorite Brazilian chocolate truffles) which everyone loved!
Because it is absolutely beautiful and the food is incredible.
For the cocktail hour there was everything from Italian to Brazilian. The main menu included chicken marsala, filet mignon, and salmon, all served with vegetables.
Before even shopping for gowns I knew exactly what I wanted: spaghetti straps, V-neck, fitted until the hips and a little bit of the princess feeling. When I saw the dress hanging I knew it was the one.
The whole night was incredible and I had so much fun! Dancing to “You’ve Got a Friend in Me” with my brother was the cherry on top.
Throughout the whole wedding process, I was very laid back, so I didn’t worry about anything.
Absolutely nothing. Everything was as I planned, except the weather. As it was a winter wedding in New Jersey, I was expecting to feel cold, but it was 62 degrees on January 12th, making it even better than expected.
