Reno & Jenna
Jenna and Reno got married on October 17, 2025, at Nanina’s in the Park.
Their Story
They met July 2020 in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“One of my best friends was having a backyard birthday for her boyfriend who just so happened to have a very single best friend, Reno,” says Jenna. “Both of us definitely didn’t anticipate meeting our other half at this party but after hours of talking and avoiding going home, I knew that he was the one.”

“The next day, Reno immediately reached out to my friend for my phone number, sent me a text and the rest of history!”
The Proposal
Reno planned our engagement with the help of both of their families.

“We drove to The Liberty House in Jersey City, NJ under the guise of lunch with my parents, aunt and uncle,” says Jenna. “Once we arrived, Reno suggested that we go for a walk to the waterfront front. With the New York City skyline behind us, Reno got down on his knee and proposed!”

“Little did I know that hiding in the restaurant was my brother, brother-in-law and Reno’s entire family. It meant so much to us to be able to celebrate this special day with all of the people closest to us!”
“Afterwards, we were surprised with an engagement party at the Liberty House and celebrated our new chapter through the night.”

Choosing the Venue
“The second we walked into Nanina’s it just felt like home,” says Jenna. “The second we walked in, we knew that was where we were going to get married.”
“Both of us come from Italian backgrounds so the scenery and decor matched both of our vibes perfectly! We were looking for a venue that was equally beautiful as it was cozy and Nanina’s nailed it!”

“On top of its beauty, the staff at Nanina’s is five stars. We were treated like family from the moment we walked in for our tour and by the time we had finished, we were set! Once we left, we cancelled any remaining tours and scheduled a second one to bring my dad and Reno’s parents,” says Jenna.
Details of the Day
The overall theme for their wedding was “quiet luxury.”
“We wanted a beautifully classic and timeless aesthetic that we would look back at in 20 years and still love,” says Jenna. “Our florals were neutral—white flowers with greenery and lots of candles on the tables for that cozy, dinner with your family, feel.”

“Of course, each place setting featured Italian almonds in a box embossed with our custom logo.”
Reno and Jenna collect matchbooks during their travels so of course those were included at the cigar bar. The custom favors (sunglasses, trucker hats & slippers) were all black and white and featured their token line “From Jersey, With Love.”

“Our guests loved rocking all of the merch on the dance floor and still use those items today,” says Jenna.
Detail They Couldn’t Live Without
“The absolute star of the show was our band,” says Jenna. “At the start of planning we had no idea which direction we wanted to go for music. After meeting with a few different companies, I met with Elegant Music Group and they walked me through every single option they offered. While discussing my vision for our wedding day, they recommended me to their band Electric Boulevard and WOW! I wish I could get married again just to experience that all a second time.”

“They are all so phenomenally talented, their overall performance is amazing and they get the crowd involved. Our dance floor was packed the entire night, it was the most fun I have ever had!”
Favorite Moment
Their absolute favorite moment was inviting their guests to be a part of the first dance.

“We danced alone for the first minute or so and then had our band announce for people to join us,” says Jenna. “It was such a surreal moment, dancing to together as husband and wife and being able to look around and see all of the people that we love all in one room. That will truly be a moment that both of us will never forget.”
Wedding Day Attire
Sticking true to our classic and timeless theme Jenna wore a very traditional A-line gown. The exact style was Viviana by Marianna Hardwick. A pair of rhinestone Jimmy Choo heels and rhinestone Swarovski hoops added a pop of glam.
The bridesmaids each picked their own black gown and the matrons of honor picked black gowns with some sparkle to stand out and tie into Jenna’s look.

Reno wore a shawl lapel tux which helped him stand out from his groomsmen who wore a more traditional tux.
Later into the night, Jenna changed into a stunning Nadine Merabi beaded fringe party dress and Reno changed into a white tux jacket with and undone bow tie! “Together, it was the perfect switch up to party into the night,” says Jenna.
Advice For Other Couples
“Take a moment to stop, breathe and look around,” says Jenna. “Reno and I set the intention that week so be in the moment and not let the day slip by. In the chaos of it all, the day will start to get away from you.”

“While your bridesmaids are getting their hair and makeup done, stop and take a mental picture. During your first dance, look around at all of your guests. During dinner, stop and soak it all in. This helped the day slow down and we feel like we got to enjoy it so much more by taking those moments!”
Honeymoon
The newlyweds will be doing two weeks in Europe this summer.
“We will be starting with a few days in Rome and from there traveling to Capri, Cinque Terre and Portofino,” says Jenna. “After Italy we will do a few stops in Nice and Marseilles, France and then wrap up our honeymoon with a few nights in Barcelona, Spain.”
