How did you meet?
The gym!

How did you get engaged?
He told me he was going out for a few drinks and to have a meeting for his business so I went out with my girls. A few hours later they said they wanted to meet up with him for a drink since his meeting was over. They coached me into our favorite restaurant and all of our friends and family were there waiting to surprise me.

Details of the day!
6/11/21 was our FOURTH wedding date! We booked Renault Winery when they were at the height of their construction, and a few months before our first big day—December 2019—it wasn’t complete and we had to postpone. Fast-forward to two additional wedding-date attempts due to Covid and we finally made it to our day on June 11, 2021. The day was overcast and slightly drizzling, but couldn’t have been any more perfect. My girls were in burgundy, fitting for a winery, and the guys in ALL black, Johnny Cash–style (cue their matching honorary socks). I wore a gorgeous open-back sheath Martina Liana gown with a train to double the size. The entire scene was gorgeous and I can’t believe it finally came to fruition.

Why did you choose your venue?
It was close to home (about 30 minutes) and we fell in love with their rendering pictures for post-construction. It’s everything you’d imagine when you think of a winery that’s brand-new, gorgeous in every direction you look, and can still give off them private royal-wedding vibes.

What was on your menu?
We started with Renault’s house salad. For dinner, we offered a stuffed chicken with prosciutto, mozzarella and spinach, finished with truffle mushroom risotto and vegetable medley or a filet mignon with scalloped potatoes and asparagus. We finished with wedding cake, assorted donuts and a special groom’s cake, which was a white Yeti cooler accompanied by the famous Busch Lite beer that you’d find all throughout the wedding (his favorite).

All about your gown!
Martina Liana. Open back, sheath, beaded and floral. A train twice the length of me—just gorgeous. Fun fact: It was my third (and last dress), but I had the best bridal shop that worked with me on all of my indecisiveness, and we landed on the most amazing gown to fit me perfectly.

What was your favorite moment?
Taking pictures in the misty rain that we thought was going to ruin our day. If anything, it was the best part and the pictures are incredibly gorgeous. Major thanks to our photographers!

One detail you couldn’t live without?
My man! And the food.

Did anything go wrong?
Even with the rain, I’d have to say no.

First dance song?
“Blessed,” by Thomas Rhett.

Any advice for future brides?
Have the best day of your life. I didn’t know how true it was when other brides told me how fast it goes. Just soak in every single second.

Honeymoon location:
We will be going to Jamaica!
