5 Floral Preservation Businesses in NJ
Turn the blooms from your big day into stunning keepsakes.
Read MoreIn September 2021, just before her wedding at the Park Savoy Estate in Florham Park, Brittany Gura wondered: what should I do with my flowers after my big day?
Armed with a creative background (a degree in graphic design from County College of Morris), she started dabbling in flower preservation using resin. Soon, she was teaching herself the medium by watching YouTube videos and drying flowers she purchased at the grocery store. Before long, Brittany was a pro.
In April 2022, B Creative Floral Preservation was born. Recently, Brittany’s business outgrew her at-home set up. She expanded into, what she believes to be, the only floral preservation business with a designated studio and consultation location in New Jersey. (Typically, brides place orders online with floral preservation businesses).
“This is a game changer for brides,” she says. “It’s a better experience. They can meet someone and see samples.”
New Jersey Bride stopped by Brittany’s studio in Florham Park, which features a resin room, flower storage room and meeting space. At this location, her clients—by appointment only—can view sample keepsakes before finalizing their order, drop off their flowers and pick up their final products. B Creative offers a similar experience to visiting a prospective photographer to view sample albums. “This will be a major help in their decision-making process,” says Brittany.
Her keepsake options include blocks in various shapes and sizes, bookends, coasters, ring holders, candle holders, ornaments and even jewelry, like necklaces, bracelets, earrings and rings that contain small flower pieces. Her items range in price from $65 to $850, with no order minimum.
“It’s fun,” says Brittany about her business, “I enjoy making keepsakes that bring happiness to people.”
