“I knew we would be vacationing in Bermuda for a couple of weeks, as we do every summer and knew it would be the perfect place for my proposal. One of my best friends, Steven, a native Bermudian, runs one of Bermudas most successful event companies, Exclusive Events, he has a lot of knowledge and experience in this area, so I immediately wanted to consult with him about where it would be best to propose. We bounced ideas off one another and concluded I would propose at Cambridge Beaches, the only 5 diamond resort in Bermuda, at one of their restaurants, Breezes. I began emailing Nadia, the events and operations manager, to start the planning process, she was extremely helpful and more then accommodating. Before I knew it, the day had arrived to propose to my love. I had planned a dinner for four on the beach, to make it look very inconspicuous. Which would later would become a table for two once I proposed. Our table was right next to the ocean. I mapped it out to propose to her right as we had gotten to our seats with friends trailing far behind. There was a band playing soft music, as they had been made aware of what I was about to do. I walked down the beach, with Maria in front of me. Just as we got to our table and about to sit down, I got down on one knee and looked into Marias eyes, and asked her to spend the rest of her life with me. All the while, the photographer I had hired was off in the distance taking pictures to capture our moment. She and I cried tears of joy when she said yes, and she couldn’t believe what was happening. Dinner couldn’t have been more special, with the sun setting on the oceans horizon. ”
