How did you meet:

Tyler and I met at Monmouth University my freshmen year and his sophomore year. I was a cheerleader and he was a football player. The first time I met him was at the Monmouth University Spring fest. We figured out that we were both from Toms River but actually went to rival high schools. We started hanging out that summer and we became friends first before we started dating two years later.

When did you get engaged? 1/26/2017

Where did you get engaged? Toms River High School North

How he asked: Tyler proposed to me at the high school that I went too and currently teach at and coach cheerleading. He proposed to me at a basketball game while I was coaching. The head coach could not be there and I had to accept an award on her behalf at half time.

When I went to get the award, they began playing the song “Marry You” by Bruno Mars and the fans in the stands raised up signs that said “Brielle will you marry me?” So naturally I was looking in the stands for him and then one of the cheerleaders turned me around and he was dressed as the mascot the entire time and ripped off the head and asked me to marry him!
