You spent months planning the *perfect* wedding and now the countdown begins… you’re wedding is in ONE week! You’ve double, and even triple checked all of the little details, but there’s still a feeling of anxiety in the pit of your stomach. It’s okay to be nervous about your big day, and we have a feeling your mind is going to wander to all of the worst-case scenarios.
Well we’re here to let you know that you’re NOT alone! We came up with a list of 12 ridiculous things that you might worry about the week before you get married. Some are completely ridiculous and only seem to happen in the movies, while some are a bit more realistic (like oversleeping).
While it’s totally normal for the bride-to-be to worry about her wedding day, the most important thing to remember is to just relax and enjoy the special day you spent so long planning. Realize that no one will remember the small hiccups that may occur, but they will remember the feeling of LOVE when two families join together to become one.
So, have you worried about any of these ridiculous things?!
What if it rains?
What if I cry the whole way down the aisle?
What if he doesn’t show up? (Ok, you’ve been watching too many Sex and the City movie reruns!)
What if he’s really not the love of my life?
What if the limo doesn’t show up?
What if I oversleep? (Guys just don’t get it! You need ALL morning to get ready)
What if the groomsmen (or maid of honor or Aunt Betsy) get drunk and ruin the reception?
What if I mess up my vows?
What if my dress doesn’t fit?
What if the directions included in the invitation were wrong and no one shows up?
What if someone gives a really inappropriate speech?
What if a bridesmaid tries to steal the groom? (Stop watching those movies!)
