The Buttonwood Manor—named for the charming buttonwood trees that surround much of its landscape—has been established in beautiful Matawan, New Jersey for over 75 years.

Panoramic water views and manicured gardens offer the perfect backdrop. The Buttonwood Manor provides versatility on your big day. From the lush gardens and cascading waterfalls to the stunning sunsets that can be enjoyed from the lakeside deck, the Buttonwood does not disappoint when it comes to photography opportunities. The Buttonwood is available to host your welcome gathering, ceremony and reception all under one roof.

Buttonwood regularly receives accolades on the exquisite cuisine, which is prepared to-order for your guests during your event. The dishes and presentation are complemented by the stellar service provided by the dedicated maître d’ and their team of servers.

Banquet Rooms at the Buttonwood Manor

The Lakeview Room can accommodate between 100 and 225 guests. The elegant interior is highlighted by a wall of windows, allowing light to cascade across your event during daylight hours. During evening events, their breathtaking fountain becomes the highlight of the scenic landscape. A private waterfront deck, with access from your event space, can be used (weather permitting) for ceremonies or as additional congregation space for your guests.

The Greenhouse Room can accommodate up to 100 guests, who will enter your event through their glass atrium. Views of the tranquil koi pond and landscaped waterfall adorn the private hallway that leads to your room.

The Terrace Room features wall-to-wall mirrors which project the views of the ever-changing lake scenery. This room can accommodate up to 50 guests, making it the perfect setting for smaller events, such as bridal and baby showers.
