Sean & Gianna
Gianna and Sean tied the knot on August 24, 2024, at Park Avenue Club.
Their Story
“In true New Jersey fashion, Sean and I met at The Hunt, a north Jersey day drinking festival and horse race,” says Gianna.

“After meeting up at the same Halloween party the following weekend, we hit it off and became inseparable.”
The Proposal
They had a very private engagement at the Cross Gardens Estate in Bernardsville.
“We were on our way to a birthday celebration dinner at our favorite restaurant, and Sean surprised me with a detour at this garden beforehand,” says Gianna.

“After our dinner, my mom and grandma surprised us for cake, coffee and champagne.”
They were leaving for Italy just a few days later, where Gianna thought the proposal would happen.
Details of the Day
Their theme and overall aesthetic was classic and romantic.

“Our color scheme was white, cream, blush pink and sage,” says Gianna. “Our flowers (rented from Something Borrowed Blooms) matched the bridesmaid dresses.”
“Our favors—custom decorated sugar cookies—were each handmade by me,” says Gianna. “I have a side business and knew I wanted to incorporate my cookies somehow. They also doubled as the seating chart!”

Choosing the Venue
Park Avenue Club was the first venue they toured.

“We immediately fell in love with the space, loving that it was a traditional ballroom made modern,” says Gianna.
Favorite Moment
“My favorite moment was our private first look in the hotel,” says Gianna.

“Getting those few minutes just to ourselves before the ceremony was priceless and something I’ll always cherish.”
Detail They Couldn’t Live Without
“The wedding would not have been the same without our saxophone player,” says Gianna. “He kept the dance floor packed all night long!”

Advice For Other Couples
“Plan as much as you can early on,” says Gianna. “[That way,] you can enjoy the rest of your engagement stress free!”

Honeymoon
The couple went to France and Spain for their honeymoon.
“I picked France, and Sean picked Spain,” says Gianna. “We each got to experience a place we had already been, and each experienced somewhere new.”

“We started in Paris, then made our way to Nice, over to Mallorca, and ended in Barcelona. It was such a perfect two weeks!”
