Taylor and John at Park Savoy Estate

John nd I were high school sweethearts and started dating our junior year of high school. We went to prom together and started dating on New Years eve so it was only right to get married 10 years later on New Years Eve!

Our dog came down the aisle in a remote control Lamborghini dressed in a tuxedo! He stole the show and was later featured on The Today Show. Since we got married on New Year’s Eve, we kept the flowers very neutral. We had flowers decorating our welcome sign, we had a beautiful arch that we got married under and wanted to get the most out of the arch so we even sat under it at our sweetheart table with hanging candles and lanterns. For our escort cards, we wanted to play off of the New Years theme so we had plastic stick stirrers engraved with everyone’s name and table number put in champagne flutes with poured champagne. We had a live painter paint our first dance and even had “snow” during our first dance and confetti at midnight when the clock struck midnight.


We loved how it was able to fit our 200+ guests and not feel so grand or over-the-top. There was so much charm in the mansion with the wine cellar and his & her bridal suites – it was our first venue that we saw and they had New Year Eve open so we were ecstatic and thought it was meant to be.


We had the “The Savoy Duet” for our entrée which was shrimp a la park & Châteaubriand! Our cake was five tiers of funfetti with our initials “T&J” in gold script font on the front with our dog peeking out of the side!


Hayley Paige “Hayley Gown”. I saw Hayley wear it for her own wedding and was just speechless! I described what I liked to my bridal consultant when I went to Kleinfelds and it was one of the dresses she brought into the dressing room and I started crying! It was such an exciting feeling and it was pink, what more can a girl want?


Walking down the aisle! Everyone was so happy for us and being in my dads arm feeling my most beautiful was a magical moment. I was so happy.


Our dog Frankie being apart of the special day and how everyone was so excited about his grand entrance in the Lamborghini.


Nope, not that I realized at least.

Every detail really will fall into place! All of your hard work will pay off and even more amazing then you ever could of imagined it so soak it all in and enjoy the little moments because they will all be memories in the blink of an eye. Tell the important people like your parents and in-laws how thankful you are for the day they helped you bring to life.
