Real Weddings

Stephanie Clemente to Ray Bosche at Natirar

Details of the day: My wedding was a mix of vintage elegance and delicate shabby-chic. My dress, by Melissa Sweet, was ivory, decorated with flowers that were hand-embroidered on silk organza. I wore a pearl bow sash. Decorations intertwined with uniquely created artwork, painting the room to create the feel I was hoping for. We rented antique furniture and dispersed it throughout the tent outside the mansion to help subtly create the theme of the event. What started as an image in my mind became dispersed in every detail, from the hand painted invitations, to the venue, to the decorations in the room. The perfect October New Jersey sunset we had that night matched the flowers that were gracefully scattered across the tables. We payed so much attention to every detail: the table numbers were antique books we found, then had hand painted by the team at Momental designs, the same team that painted our invitations, menus and the antique bottles dug up from my parents hometown in New York. Each couple received a hand painted bottle as one of our favors. But most importantly, we had so much fun. The dancing was non-stop, and the band, LA Starz, was amazing. Natirar was the perfect place to begin my happily ever after. My favorite part: My favorite part was walking down the aisle. No matter how much planning I put into the event, the only part that really mattered was that he was there waiting for me, looking at me in the way every girl dreams to be looked at by the man she loves.  I couldn’t tear myself away from that moment. I was beaming. Advice for other brides: Enjoy being engaged. It’s a really exciting and unique time in your life, and it’s important to remember who’s by your side. Also, don’t get too wrapped up in your planning, let people support you and share your vision. Somehow it finds its way to that wedding ceremony and reception.
