Stacey and Tim at Liberty House

Stacey and Tim's Jersey City Wedding at Liberty House

“Our wedding was truly a fairytale. It took place in Jersey City, NJ with views of lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. We rolled the dice on the weather when we set our date (March 28th), but it turned out beautifully; what started out as rain cleared up towards the afternoon. The sun came out just as I walked down the aisle. The temperature that evening was in the mid 60’s which was perfect considering we offered a cigar bar to our guests.”

“My dress was a traditional lace ballgown with Swarovski crystal embellishments along the waste, picked out by my mother. I cried when I put it on; it’s true you know when you have found your dress. My flowers blew me away– they truly set the tone for the event. The food at Liberty House was outstanding. We served a filet mignon and Chilean sea bass. The cocktail hour is still talked about til this very day. Our band could not have been a better choice; they rocked it. The whole wedding was truly magical… you could feel the love in the room. It was spectacular!”

Your favorite part:

“My favorite part of the wedding was the look on my husband’s face when I met him at the alter.”

Advice for other brides:

“Try to stay as organized as possible. Get as much done before the weeks leading up to the wedding. The week before the wedding is stressful. Know that and expect it. When the day arrives, just enjoy. Whatever will be, will be!”
