Sonata and Shirish tied the knot on October 27, 2024, at Mansion on Main Street.

Their Story

Shirish and Sonata met on an online dating site and the sparks flew as they shared each other’s hobbies.

They did not want their first date to end after how much fun they had getting to know each other.

The Proposal

Sonata and Shirish got engaged only after a few months of dating, knowing that they were meant for each other. They shared many hobbies and continued to form a closer bond by participating in fun activities like bowling and mini golf and going to musical concerts.

Shirish proposed to Sonata on the night of June 25, 2024 and she happily said yes!

Choosing the Venue

The wedding took place outdoors at The Mansion on Main Street which featured a beautiful backdrop of a water fountain and fall foliage.

The couple chose the fall season for their wedding since they wanted the pleasing autumn weather and capture the beautiful auburn colored trees.

The venue was perfect for the vision that Sonata and Shirish had in mind with beautiful white columns adorning the platform that the ceremony would take place.

The outdoor lawn and flowers were wonderfully maintained by the property. The couple picked a white flowers to decorate the outdoor ceremony and it matched the white lawn chairs and white marble platform perfectly.

Details of the Day

On a beautiful autumn evening of October 27, 2024, lovebirds Sonata and Shirish had a starlight themed wedding, a glamorous event that stunned all their guests. The couple interwove this theme in all design elements of their wedding, starting with the signage that included the invitation, welcome signs, seating charts to the wedding attires, decor, cake, all the way to the dance floor.

Their constellation signs glittered against the dark blue cake color and their cake topper had a silhouette of a female playing a piano and a man sitting on top of the piano, admiring her performance.

Detail They Couldn’t Live Without

Shirish and Sonata had a beautiful welcome sign for their starlight themed wedding.

The words, “I would find you in any lifetime” was at the bottom followed by the names of the couple. They love the sign so much that they display it in their living room now.

Favorite Moment

The dance floor was a particular highlight, with LED panels giving off a starlight effect. It made Sonata and Shirish’s first dance that much more memorable as they danced to Coldplay’s “A Sky Full of Stars.”

They felt like they were dancing on the clouds, with dry ice and sparklers elevating their magical experience that will forever be etched in their memories. The couple practiced the dance choreography to ensure the first dance was memorable and the song still remains their all time favorite to dance and sing to.

Wedding Day Attire

After trying out ball gown style dresses, Sonata chose a mermaid style dress at Pronovias, which outshined all other competitors. She wanted to have her gown to have a classic yet timeless look so, she honed in on full length sleeves that had an intricate lace design. The lace work was carried over to her neckline and the entire gown was meticulously woven and was customized to Sonata’s liking. Its plunging V cut in the upper back complemented the long veil well.

Shirish’s tuxedo from Suit Supply also added to the glamour and gave a stylish flair. It was custom tailored to his liking and he had personalized touches added to it. The wedding date was stitched inside the rear neck collar and the cuff links had the initials of the bride and groom, SS and SJ inscribed on them.

“Indulge in the nitty gritty details of your wedding so that it will be that much more memorable when you look back at how magical the event turned out to be,” says the couple.

Honeymoon

Sonata and Shirish followed their unforgettable day with honeymoon trip to Cabo the next day. They stayed there for two weeks.

They took part in ATV rides, riding camels, jet skiing and a boat ride. They also did a Trash the Dress photoshoot session on the beach in their wedding gown and tuxedo, with all the photos coming out stunning.
