Shannon and Jeff got married on November 10, 2023 at the Park Savoy Estate.
They got engaged in the Outer Banks, North Carolina in October 2021.
“We made a bonfire on the beach to watch the sunrise and that is when he proposed,” says Shannon. “I was completely surprised!”
For their fall wedding at Park Savoy, the couple chose mainly white flowers, “with pops of lavender and deep blue.”
The bridesmaids donned “sea glass green” gowns and also wore fur shawls for photos.
For favors, Shannon and Jeff gave guests mini bottles of olive oil.

The couple chose the venue, “because it was beautiful—the gardens, chapel, bridal suite, reception room. Everything about the venue was perfect,” says Shannon.
“The food was also amazing,” she adds. “We had heard from past wedding guests how amazing the food was and they sure did not disappoint.”
“All day we had a cloudy overcast day. Right as I am was about to walk into the chapel for our ceremony, the sun came out and was shining down on us,” says Shannon. “I truly believe it was our family and fur family looking down from heaven.”
“The indoor sparklers from our DJ. I thought they were just too cool!”
“Also, our sax player, Jason Nelson, was truly amazing and kept the dance floor going the whole night!”
“Just go with the flow the best you can! We were running behind on our timeline and the maître d’ just kept telling us we were completely fine and not to worry.”
The couple went to St. Lucia and stayed at Sandals Grande St. Lucian, Sugar Beach Resort and Jade Mountain Resort.
