Their Story

The couple met at a bar in Asbury Park and the rest is history.

The Proposal

Around Christmastime, which is Ariana’s favorite holiday, she was told that they were going to a holiday party.

Guerry proposed on a bridge in Spring Lake. Their family and friends surprised the fiances at a bar afterwards.

Choosing the Venue

“We absolutely loved our venue because it was very unique,” says Ariana. Hotel du Village turned out to be the perfect match.

“The architecture reminded me of being in another country because it was a French-inspired chateau,” she says. “It was very charming and made our day very memorable.”

Details of the Day

The couple chose “old money vibes,” as the theme of their day. “I went with neutrals—champagnes, ivories, golds and a touch of sage here and there. Baby’s breath mixed with white roses to keep it nice clean and soft. Blankets were the favors during the ceremony and custom matches were available at the cigar bar.

Favorite Moment

“My favorite moment was sitting in the reception room seeing it all lit up with candles and remember it feeling magical,” says Ariana.

Wedding Day Attire

The bride went with a Netta BenShabu fitted lace dress while the groom wore a custom tux that was navy and black.

Advice For Other Couples

“Don’t get caught up in all the small details,” says Ariana. “Try to enjoy the moment and never separate the day of the wedding—it goes too fast!”

Honeymoon

The newlyweds honeymooned in Italy, visiting Rome, Florence, Capri and Positano.
