Megan and Anthony wed on November 10, 2023 at Indian Trail Club in Franklin Lakes.

Their Story

The originally met at a roller hockey rink in Morristown. “My friend called me into the locker room (everyone was decent!) and we met right there,” Megan remembers.

“We spent the night together and before I got in my Uber, he told me he wanted to take me out that week. And he did!”

The Proposal

The couple got engaged at a winery in Warwick, New York.

“He set up a picnic at the top of the hill for us and we didn’t even make it to the top before he was down on one knee,” Megan says.

“We both cried and I obviously said yes. That night we also celebrated my birthday and he surprised me with a bunch of my college friends.”

Choosing the Venue

“The moment we walked into Indian Trail Club we knew it was the place for us,” says the bride. “The stunning lake views, fun bar area and gorgeous reception area really sold us.”

Details of the Day

The theme was a classic black tie country club wedding, with shades of blue and cream.

“The best moment was when we were announced as husband and wife for the first time,” says Megan.

“Our recessional song was ‘Dancing in The Moonlight.’ I was surprised how emotional it got during the ceremony and just felt overwhelming joy as we walked into our cocktail hour.”

Detail They Couldn’t’ Live Without

“Having our French Bulldog Lucy by our side that day [was the best detail],” says Megan. “She is such a big part of our lives and we we’re thrilled to have her with us.”

Advice for Other Couples

“Leave it to the professionals,” advises Megan. “I am a publicist who is used to working on events. I knew that I could hire the best folks for the job and that they will perform/exceed expectations.”

Honeymoon

They spent a week at Serenity at Coconut Bay in St. Lucia.
