Details of the Day: We got married at Trump National Philadelphia Golf Club in Pine Hill, NJ. It was the only vender that we looked at. Greg is an avid golfer, and we are both members of the club. The club is like a second home to us. The venue is also gorgeous! The outdoor grounds (where the ceremony took place) are on a tall hill overlooking the greens of the golf course. There is also an incredible view of the Philadelphia’s skyline. Inside, the ballroom is very elegant. The color scheme of the wedding was gold, blush, and champagne which complemented the decor of the room that the reception took place in. Couldn’t Live Without: Before and During the Wedding: Trump National Golf Club’s Wedding Coordinators Sharon Schomber and Karen Beatty were unbelievable. I did not have a wedding planner, but Sharon and Karen made sure that every little detail was accounted for during the planning process. There were very organized and accommodating. The day of, both kept us calm and made sure that everything as executed as scheduled. After the Wedding: Pictures from my most talented photographer Alyssa Maloof. She perfectly captured every emotion of the day in the most talented way. She was also super easy to work with. Something That Went Wrong: The ceremony and cocktail hour were scheduled for outdoors. Leading up to our wedding, the forecast was completely clear – zero percent chance of rain. Luckily, we did a first look and pictures on the golf course prior to the ceremony. Twenty minutes before the guests arrived, a huge storm came through Pine Hill. It was raining really badly. We had to make a decision as to whether or not to move the ceremony inside which I really did not want to do. I loved the idea of getting married over the greens against the backdrop of the city skyline. We had to make a last minute call. The Doppler projected that there was going to be a twenty minute break in the rain right around when the ceremony was scheduled to take place. Quickly, the Trump staff dried off the guests’ seats. We managed to pull off an outdoor ceremony. The cost – the train of my dress got completely destroyed from the puddles outside. However, Karen was able to pin my dress in a way to my bustle that you couldn’t even tell for the cocktail hour and reception. One bonus to this disaster– we had a double rainbow overlooking our ceremony. There was a thunderstorm the rest of the night which also was kind of a cool backdrop in the ballroom. Favorite Detail: By far, my favorite detail was my flowers. One of my bridesmaid’s aunts Debbie Riggs creatively crafted my wildflower vison. Each piece from bouquets to center pieces was eclectic and unique. The flowers added a Bohemian feel to the whole night – which I loved! Honeymoon: Italy. We started in Positano, Tuscany, Florence, and ended in Rome.
