How they met:
Mike and Lindsay first met in high school when mutual friends of theirs were dating. Shortly after, they both went in opposite directions for college, running into each other only a few times over the years. It wasn’t until they were back home and out at Jenks Pavilionin Point Pleasant that they ran into each other again. Mike asked Lindsay to dinner at Maria’s in Manasquan and she happily accepted.
Mike asked Lindsay to marry him at their home in Marlboro on December 21, 2012, a little over three years after they started dating; Lindsay came home from her daily commute to find Mike by the Christmas tree with a sparkling ring hanging in a clear Christmas ornament. There were rose petals trailing from the front door to the a Christmas tree where Mike was down on one knee.
Lindsay and Mike were married on the most perfect sunny, breezy day at Tower Hill Presbyterian Church in Red Bank. After the ceremony, they celebrated the night away with family and friends at Windows on the Water in Sea Bright.
Your favorite part:
“Our favorite part of the day was seeing everyone that we love together in one room having so much fun. Our goal in wedding planning was to make sure our guests had an unbelievable time and we’re sure they did! We are so blessed to be surrounded by such an amazing group of friends and family.”
Advice for other brides:
“Enjoy your time working together as a team with your fiance to plan your big day. Even though it was stressful at times, my fiance and I had such a blast nailing down all of the details and working with such great vendors!”
