Laura and Eric tied the knot on November 27, 2024 at Florentine Gardens.
You ever hear that the best relationship starts off as a friendship? Laura first met Eric at work; they shook hands and until this day Eric teases Laura with how sweaty her palms were. She was completely nervous for the start of a new job.
At that time Laura and Eric were both on different paths’ in their lives, they became good friends for years.
The day before his back surgery, Eric proposed to Laura at their home with their dog Lucy.
“During this time, we were excited to be engaged but after he went in for surgery, he had to go in for a second emergency surgery since the first one did not go well,” says Laura. “This was a scary time for both of us with Eric being in the hospital for weeks.” But he had Laura by his side every step of the way.

The theme was elegant at this black-tie formal wedding with the colors black, gold and white. The table clothes were white linen with black napkins. Creationari did white menus with gold writing.
On every other table, there were tall clear vases with white roses and baby’s breath. The other tables had beautiful tall candles. The couple utilized their photo booth photos as favors.
“We chose Florentine Gardens for two reasons,” says Laura. “Number one being the astonishing rooms throughout the venue. Any room you step in feels magical and spectacular! Number two being the customer service. Jason helped us from the first day we toured the venue. The customer service he provided exceeded our expectations and he was easy to communicate with.”
Laura wore a lace, long sleeve couture wedding gown made my Berta paired with heels from Jimmy Choo. Eric wore a tuxedo from Prima Tuxedo that was black with a white dress shirt underneath along with a bow tie. His shoes were Christian Lou Boutin. The groomsman wore everything black from Prima Tuxedo and the bridesmaids wore black satin dresses from Azazie.
“If I could relive a moment over again, it would be when my husband and I saw each other during our first look.”
“Your wedding day will go by so fast so please live in the moment and enjoy every minute of it,” says Laura.
The couple went to Antigua for seven days. “We left two days after the wedding and it was incredible to just reset from all of the planning,” says Laura. “We relaxed on the beach and by the pools most days, ate a ton of food (especially the sushi because that was to die for!) and we made some friends with other couples.”
