Details of the day:
My wedding dress had an amazing open back and the groom could not keep his hands off. We had a super-loving first look, and the bridal party was a blast. Our colors were purple and white, and the Laurita Winery was the perfect backdrop for our wedding photos. I wore my hair sideways with purple orchids. Bridesmaids wore short dresses and complemented each other very nicely. It was a simple, yet sophisticated rustic wedding, and we incorporated our love for bicycles in the invitations and in the cake topper.
My favorite part:
We loved working with our photographer because of the way she captured John’s first-look reactions. The dances and reception were loads of fun, and I put the garter on the groom, and everyone enjoyed it. The best part of the day was finally being married to the man I’ve been in love with for the past eight years. There was so much planning and getting everything together that day, and with all my nerves, and waiting around…all I wanted to do was just be married to John. And then we were and we partied.
