Kelsey and Leo tied the knot on April 12, 2025, at Valley Regency.

Their Story

Their love story began right after Covid when restaurants started to open again.

“I went out to eat at a local restaurant, Cafe Bello, which my uncle is one of the owners of and Leo ended up being our waiter,” says Kelsey.

“My friend and I asked what he recommended as an appetizer and to our surprise he brought over two,” she says. “A month later I started working at the restaurant part time and rest is history.”

The Proposal

Leo proposed to Kelsey in front of both of their families at Laurita Winery. He had a lovely light-up “marry me” sign.

Details of the Day

The couple chose a dusty blue theme with a pop of color for their big day. Their cake topper was figurines of the two of them in Cafe Bello uniforms.

And the pair chose to have beautiful play bills made for their programs.

Choosing the Venue

They chose the Valley Regency because of the food. “They offered so many options that we knew our Italian families would enjoy,” says Kelsey.

Favorite Moment

“My favorite moment was being with every single person we love in one place,” says Kelsey. Plus, she adds, “our vendors were amazing.”

Detail They Couldn’t Live Without

“One detail I couldn’t live without was including my students’ artwork,” says Kelsey. “I wanted to make sure our day represented everything that had a meaning to us as individuals and as a couple.”

Wedding Day Attire

The bride wore a Pen Liv dress that she customized with removable sleeves.

The guys wore navy blue tuxes with brown shoes. The bridesmaids and flower girls wore dusty blue and their moms both wore navy.

Advice For Other Couples

“My advice for other couples is plan your day how you want it,” says Kelsey. “You don’t have to listen to all the trends.”

Justin Pedrick Photography

“Make your day represent you and your significant other because that’s what everyone took away from our day was all the details.”

Honeymoon

They went to Greece end of June where they visited Athens, Paros, Mykonos and Santorini.
