How did they meet? Joey owns a couple of pizzeria restaurants. Juliette went to eat at Joey D’s Brick Oven Pizza, with a friend. Juliette is a little shy so her friend mentioned to the waitress that she was looking for a nice guy. The next time they went into eat, Joey came and sat right at the table with them and the rest is LOVE story history.
How did they get engaged? Joey and Juliette went to Aruba for a Valentine’s vacation. While they were there, he suggested they go shopping at a jewelers to pick out a gift for his mom’s birthday and once they got in there he had her pick out the ring of her dreams.
Details of the day! The wedding was a winter ice theme; the main color was sapphire blue and cocktail hour had a heart shaped martini luge ice sculpture engraved with “Juliette and Joey”. The favors were glass diamond paperweights that had each guest’s name and table number on it. The cake was a 3 tiered white cake separated by blue hanging crystals. The bride’s mom made a forest back drop of winter trees with a few little white flower buds. Each of the flowers had a pearl or a blue rhinestone in the center. Juliette’s bouquet was made up of pearl and crystal brooches.
Why did they choose their venue? After looking at many options, Juliette fell in love with Clarks Landing. She loved the old world decor and ambiance of the cocktail hour room and the absolute elegance of the ballroom with its crystal chandeliers and view of the water.
What was on their menu? The cocktail hour presented an array of foods and stations, including a wine and cheese pairing station. There was also an exorbitant amount of seafood, a Mediterranean station, carving stations as well as variety of butler style served hors d’oeuvres. Then off to the ballroom for the full course sit-down dinner topped off with a beautiful display of Venetian hour desserts along with flambé banana Foster, a chocolate fountain sundae station, candy station and specialty coffees.
All about her gown! The bridal gown was an Eve of Milady dress purchased at Kleinfeld’s and later embellished with thousands of Swarovski crystals that added sparkle and shine. The dress was a blush-colored lace fit to flare that had an antique feel with the draping lace sleeves and the long lace train.

One detail they couldn’t live without?
