Details of the day: My gown was a traditional A line dress with keyhole back. The gown was timeless. The reception was filled with clear glass trumpet vases filled with hydranga, roses and orchids. We had a photobooth from Fifth Avenue Digital in NYC. Cigar bar for the guys with a martini bar provided by the Crystal Plaza.
I also surprised the groom with a dessert bar themed after Harry potter, it was the hit of the party. We had a cake made in the shape Griffendorf hat – it was so much fun and delicious. The Crystal Plaza food was outstanding, great cocktail hour with an even more amazing dinner. The entree was served like a painters dish with each entree had a choice of sauces. The wedding cake was initialed with B but the B was in the font of the Boston Redsox.
Your favorite part: Ceremony was my favorite part when the priest was giving his Homily describing a bottle of wine and how it ages over time like a marriage. I also could not wait to see my husband, when I did tears were streaming down his face.
If you could change one thing about your wedding what would it be? We would have loved to spend more time with the guests.
Advice for other brides: Be flexible, anything can happen. Be resourceful, you can always find ways to achieve your vision. Be thankful for all you have.
