Danielle and Andrew had a Jersey Shore love story from their first meeting to their wedding at Sea Shell Resort on Long Beach Island on September 22, 2023.
The duo met in Manasquan at a mutual friend’s birthday party. “The party was for one of my roommates who I was doing a summer share with so we were all getting ready that morning at the house when Drew and his friends show up hours early (to beat traffic because they drove all the way down from Queens) and were just standing in our yard by themselves waiting for the party to start,” Danielle says.
“No one else went out to say hi to them so I felt bad they were standing out there all alone. We ended up hitting it off and hanging out the entire day together, having the best time.”
On May 22, 2020, the pair had plans to go to Beachhaus Brewery in Belmar for a pal’s birthday party—or so Danielle thought.
In reality, Andrew popped the question during a beach picnic before the party, which turned out to be an engagement celebration with the couple’s friends and family. After a few hours spending time with everyone they love, “we were whisked away in an Uber to a sunset cruise on Barnegat Bay,” as Andrew describes it. Danielle says the day was “magical.”
Their beachy, laid-back wedding represented the couple’s love of the Shore.
Originally hoping for a destination wedding, the couple found Sea Shell Resort when the pandemic thwarted their plans for a far-off celebration. The venue’s palm trees, pool, private beach and outdoor tiki bars gave their wedding a tropical vibe right here in New Jersey.
They chose a rich color palette with deep oranges, terracotta, and pink.
The couple incorporated several personal details into their wedding. Their beloved dog, Luna, playing a special role as the flower girl. There were signature cocktails, personalized drink koozies and cornhole boards, and sentimental touches like old photos.
Danielle’s gown by Casablanca Bridal was adorned with 3-D flowers and light beading. The Protea, Cymbidium Orchids, and tropical leaves in the floral arrangements added a touch of beachy elegance to their celebration.
For Andrew: “Seeing Danielle in her dress for the first time, reading our vows, and then our first dance stand out as some of my favorites!”
Danielle: “Getting to read our vows in front of our closest family and friends and getting to spend time one on one together for sunset photos on the beach.”

Danielle and Andre also “had a longer engagement and it helped us be able to save money, take our time with planning and ensure we were able to work with our top vendors,” the couple says.
The couple spent time in Fiji and New Zealand.
